for the whole of the 80’s. At parties we often get requests

was then. Unfortunately The 80's also produce more than

ya face or from spitting image the classic chicken song.

the 80's film soundtracks where as big as the hair do’s.
Top gun took our breath away and the kids from fame couldn’t
stop themselves from jumping on the nearest car to start
strutting their stuff. Songs from Films like footloose,
flash dance, cocktail and dirty dancing filled the charts
as well as the dance floors.
New
wave was big in the early eighties as was jazz funk but
the 80’s will be best remembered for cheesy pop tunes. The
80’s was a golden age for cheesy pop music. Tunes from Madonna,
Kylie, Duran Duran, Mel and Kim, Rick Astley, Phil Collins
are very popular in retro parties today.
We
started doing mobile discos in 1978, and can remember in
late 1982 playing a new release by prince, about a party
in the future year of 1999. Today 1999 and the big millennium
parties have almost become a part of the distant past. If
you are planning to host an 80’s music party you should
hire a DJ with not only all the latest Mobile disco equipment,
but the experience of actually being a DJ throughout the
80’s.
We
